Tackling Crime and Keeping Dublin Rathdown Safe
As a local Councillor and a candidate for the Dáil, ensuring the safety and security of Dublin Rathdown’s residents is my top priority. Recent increases in anti-social behaviour and burglary have raised significant concerns within our community, and it’s clear we need a stronger response to crime.
I firmly believe in the importance of visible policing in our area. By increasing the number of Gardaí on the streets, we can deter criminal activity and help residents feel safer. I will work tirelessly with my colleagues in Fianna Fáil to advocate for additional resources for local Garda stations, ensuring they have the support necessary to tackle crime effectively.
Community policing is also essential. By fostering stronger relationships between Gardaí and local communities, we can build trust and make it easier to prevent crime before it occurs. I am committed to collaborating with local authorities and community groups to develop crime prevention strategies that keep Dublin Rathdown a safe and welcoming place for everyone.
Together, let’s work towards a safer Dublin Rathdown for all our residents
