Exciting News: Work on the Finsbury Park Churchtown Playground Begins This Week!
As your local councillor, I’m thrilled to announce that construction on the new Finsbury Park Churchtown Playground will officially begin this week! This long-awaited project is set to transform our local park into a vibrant, inclusive space for children and families to enjoy, and I’m delighted to share that the playground is expected to open just in time for Christmas.
What to Expect During Construction
Over the next few weeks, you’ll see plenty of activity in the park as construction gets underway. The builders will be hard at work installing state-of-the-art play equipment, upgrading access routes, and making improvements to the park’s seating and landscaping. While we will be mindful to keep any disruptions to a minimum, parts of the park near the construction area may be temporarily fenced off to ensure everyone’s safety.

Opening Just in Time for Christmas
We are delighted to confirm that the playground is on track to open in December. This means that families and children will be able to enjoy this fantastic new space over the Christmas holidays.
